Our comprehensive product portfolio includes a wide range of brass rods (including low-lead and lead-free grades), brass fittings, and pipe components, engineered for exceptional mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability across plumbing, HVAC, automotive, and industrial applications.
The NINGXING Brass Three-Way Male-Female Union Connector combines a three-way branch body with male, female and detachable union connections. The male port connects to female-threaded components, while the female port receives male-threaded components. The union section allows the fitting to be removed without rotating the entire pipeline, making it useful for fixed, crowded or difficult-to-access pipework.
The three-way layout supports branch distribution, equipment bypasses, service connections and directional changes. Buyers should confirm the port orientation and connection type before ordering, especially for replacement projects. Drawings, samples or installation photos are recommended for non-standard arrangements.

The union nut requires sufficient space for tightening and removal. Before installation, check the wrenching area, pipe spacing and maintenance access.
Align the fitting with the pipeline before tightening. Do not use the union nut to correct pipe misalignment, as this may affect sealing or place stress on connected equipment. After isolating and depressurizing the system, the fitting can be removed with standard hand tools.
NINGXING provides NPT, BSP/G, PT/R and ZG thread options. Each port must match the mating component in thread profile, size, pitch and direction. NPT and BSP threads are not interchangeable, even when their nominal sizes are similar.
The final order should specify the thread standard for each port. For mixed-thread configurations, buyers should provide a drawing or sample and confirm compatibility before bulk production.
Threaded ports may require PTFE tape or liquid sealant. The union section may use a gasket, sealing washer or machined sealing surface, depending on the selected design.
Clean all threads and sealing surfaces before assembly. Start threaded connections by hand to prevent cross-threading, then tighten the hexagonal section or union nut evenly. If the connection does not close correctly, check alignment and sealing components before applying additional torque.
The body is made from forged brass, offering good dimensional stability, thread machinability and corrosion resistance for compatible water, air, oil and gas applications.
Surface options include polished brass, sandblasted brass and nickel-plated brass. For seawater, oxygen, refrigerants, medical gases or other controlled media, the material grade, cleaning process, sealing material and compliance requirements should be confirmed before production.

The Brass Three-Way Male-Female Union Connector provides easier maintenance than a fixed tee, while the male-female configuration offers greater flexibility than an all-male or all-female fitting. However, port orientation, sealing structure and installation clearance must be confirmed in advance.
Testing can be arranged according to the product specification, customer requirements and project standards.
Dimensional inspection: Port lengths, overall width, hex width, thread engagement and union nut dimensions.
Thread gauge testing: Thread profile, pitch and dimensional conformity for each port.
Union fit testing: Nut engagement, alignment, closure and sealing-surface contact.
Pressure testing: Water-pressure testing up to four times the maximum working pressure when specified.
Leakage testing: Inspection of threaded ports, union seals and branch connections; airtightness testing may be arranged for gas equipment.
Surface and coating inspection: Checks for cracks, dents, burrs, discoloration and incomplete plating.
Material verification: Supplier records, chemical composition or other agreed documentation.
Packaging inspection: Protection of threaded ports, union nuts and surface finishes during transport.
Inspection requirements and acceptance criteria should be confirmed before production.
The Brass Three-Way Male-FemaleUnion Connector is used in plumbing, HVAC water circuits, gas appliances, pneumatic control equipment, industrial oil lines, pump and valve assemblies, equipment manifolds and pipeline maintenance.
Compatible media may include water, air, oil, gas, steam, seawater, oxygen, refrigerants and medical gases when the complete system has been properly designed, sealed and tested.
A pump skid manufacturer producing packaged water-treatment units required a compact branch connection between the pump outlet, pressure gauge line and service valve. The assembly used 1" and 1-1/4" male-female union connectors to simplify installation and future component replacement.
Because the skid frames were preassembled before shipment, the detachable union section allowed technicians to connect the pipework without rotating the complete assembly. The fittings passed the specified pressure and leakage checks, helping reduce site rework.
A pneumatic equipment supplier used the fittings in compact control cabinets for automated production lines. The project required mixed male and female ports to connect regulators, valves and branch tubing in limited space.
Nickel-plated versions with customized labels and neutral export packaging were selected. The defined port orientation and union structure allowed individual control components to be replaced without removing the complete manifold.

Actual pressure and temperature ratings depend on the size, port configuration, thread standard, sealing structure, medium and system design.
The following dimensions are for preliminary selection. Final dimensions should be confirmed according to the approved drawing and thread standard.
| Nominal Size | Thread Size | A: Main Port Length | B: Branch Port Length | C: Overall Width | D: Hex Width | Approx. Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DN15 | 1/2" | 28 mm | 24 mm | 42 mm | 24 mm | 75 g |
| DN20 | 3/4" | 32 mm | 27 mm | 48 mm | 30 mm | 125 g |

NINGXING operates an ISO9001:2015-certified quality management system. CE and RoHS documentation can be supplied according to the product specification and destination market.
Inspection may include material verification, dimensional checks, thread-gauge inspection, sealing-surface inspection, pressure testing, leakage testing, salt-spray testing when specified and packaging inspection. OEM inspection points can include port orientation, union nut fit, thread engagement, sealing performance, surface finish and marking position.
OEM customization may include port arrangement, thread standard, nominal size, branch length, union dimensions, hex width, thread length, surface treatment, brand marking, labeling and packaging.
Drawings or samples are recommended for customized products. Regular specifications are available from stock where possible. Monthly production exceeding 80,000 pieces supports distributor replenishment, maintenance orders and engineering projects. Standard, neutral or customized export packaging can be arranged.
It allows the pipeline connection to be separated without rotating the complete pipe assembly, simplifying maintenance and replacement.
Different standards may be used on separate ports when technically feasible, but this must be confirmed before production. Similar nominal sizes do not always indicate compatibility.
The sealing structure depends on the selected design. It may use a gasket, sealing washer or machined sealing surface.
Clean the threads and sealing surfaces, confirm the port arrangement, apply the correct sealant where required, start the threads by hand and tighten the union nut evenly. Do not use the union nut to correct misalignment.
Depending on the order, NINGXING can provide dimensional, thread-gauge, union-fit, pressure, leakage, surface, material and packaging inspections. Factory inspection reports or agreed quality documents can also be supplied.
