Our comprehensive product portfolio includes a wide range of brass rods (including low-lead and lead-free grades), brass fittings, and pipe components, engineered for exceptional mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability across plumbing, HVAC, automotive, and industrial applications.
The Electroplated Brass Three-Way Male-Female Union is used for branching pipelines and connecting components with different thread types. The union section allows alignment and removal without rotating the entire pipe.
The fitting is manufactured through brass forging, precision machining, polishing and electroplating. It is suitable for water, plumbing and HVAC systems. Actual pressure and temperature limits depend on the size, thread configuration, sealing method, medium and final technical specification.

Available configurations include female-male-male, male-female-male and female-male-female. Select the correct configuration according to the pipeline layout and installation space.
Before installation, confirm whether the connection uses tapered or parallel threads.
Tapered threads tighten through interference and normally require thread sealant.
Clean and dry both threads before assembly. Confirm the thread standard and size, then apply approved PTFE tape or sealant in the tightening direction. Keep the first thread free of sealant to prevent material from entering the pipeline. Tighten the connection by hand first, then use a suitable wrench. Stop when the connection is correctly aligned and sealed, and avoid excessive torque.
Gas systems must use approved sealants and comply with local regulations.
Parallel threads normally require a gasket, sealing washer, O-ring or bonded seal.
Position the sealing element correctly and keep the sealing face clean and undamaged. Do not rely on PTFE tape alone unless the product specification permits it. Tighten the connection until the sealing element is properly compressed, while avoiding excessive torque.
Align the union before tightening. Do not use the union nut to correct severely misaligned pipes.

| Product Type | Main Advantage | Main Limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Electroplated Brass Three-Way Male-Female Union | Three-way branching, flexible interfaces and easy removal | Requires correct thread and sealing selection |
| Standard Brass Tee | Simple and economical for fixed branching | Less flexible for different thread interfaces |
| Brass Elbow | Compact solution for changing pipeline direction | Does not provide a three-way branch |
| Brass Adapter | Converts different thread standards or sizes | Adds connection points and installation length |
| Plastic Three-Way Fitting | Lightweight and easy to handle | May have lower strength or temperature resistance |
| Fixed Brass Manifold | Suitable for organized multi-outlet distribution | Larger and less suitable for small modifications |
This Electroplated Brass Three-Way Male-Female Union is suitable when a project requires a three-way branch, different threaded interfaces and convenient future removal.
The electroplated finish improves corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance. The reference plating thickness is approximately 3–20 μm, subject to the final specification.
The typical process includes surface preparation, removal of burrs and defects, degreasing, cleaning, surface activation, rinsing, electroplating under controlled conditions, neutralization, final rinsing, drying and inspection.
The finished surface is inspected for coverage, adhesion, peeling, blistering, scratches and other visible defects. Threaded areas and internal passages require special control because excessive plating may affect thread engagement or opening size. Avoid deep scratches, aggressive chemicals and excessive abrasion during use.
Confirm the pipe size, thread standard, male or female interface and installation dimensions before ordering.

NINGXING controls forging, CNC machining, polishing, electroplating and final inspection. Key inspection points include thread dimensions, opening diameter, wall thickness, sealing surfaces, union alignment, plating appearance, plating adhesion, pressure or leak performance, batch traceability and packaging.
The manufacturer operates under ISO9001:2015 and can provide CE and RoHS compliance according to the applicable product requirements.
Ms. Zhang replaced her three-year-old gas stove hose with a 1/2-inch electroplated brass three-way male-female union. The female thread connected to the angle valve, the male thread connected to the hose, and the union section simplified installation. A soap-water test showed no bubbles after replacement.
Gas installations must follow local safety regulations and be completed by qualified professionals where required.
Mr. Li used a 1/2-inch brass three-way union to divide one kitchen water connection into two outlets for a sink faucet and dishwasher.
Confirm that the fitting’s pressure and temperature ratings meet the water system requirements.
During a water heater replacement, Mr. Wang replaced a corroded fitting with an electroplated brass three-way union. The union design made alignment easier, and the pressure test remained stable after installation.
Confirm the temperature, pressure and sealing-material requirements before use.
The fitting can divide a main water line into separate outlets for water purifiers, water softeners and other treatment equipment without replacing the existing pipeline.
Confirm material compatibility with the water quality and connected equipment.
Shut off and drain the pipeline when necessary. Clean the threads and confirm whether the connection is tapered or parallel before selecting the sealing method.
Use approved sealant for tapered threads and the specified gasket, washer or O-ring for parallel threads. Tighten with a suitable tool and avoid excessive torque. Support the pipe to prevent bending loads, align the union before tightening and do not use the union nut to correct severe misalignment.
After installation, perform a pressure or leak test according to the applicable system standard. The reference working pressure of up to 1.6 MPa does not replace the required testing procedure.
Gas systems must comply with local safety requirements and should be tested by qualified personnel where required.
